Makingsofabrowngirl was started by Sadé Mayers-Ricks. For years Sadé has been making fruit and vegetable based concoctions for hair and skin out of her kitchen in Brooklyn, NY. After experiencing her own heat and chemical damage, Sadé decided it was time to get serious and treat her own hair. Sadé believes women can be versatile with their hair and still maintain healthy hair follicles. “Health is wealth” and “your hair is your crown” women have to take pride in their hair no matter what length and/or texture.
